This Holiday Village is truly one of Norfolk's jewels with its perfect location literally right on the coast and massive selection of facilities to rival any of the very best holiday parks in the UK. Hopton Holiday Village can boast both indoor and outdoor heated swimming pools, with the indoor pool including a slide, childrens splash pool, kayaks and aqua paddlers as well as organised pool parties with giant inflatables. For more serious golfers there is a 3-par nine hole Golf Course right on-site, and even a Crazy Golf Course situated by the entertainment centre for the family to have some fun.
This holiday village is excellent for families as the childrens entertainment and activities available are extensive. Starting right from when they first get up the kids can have breakfast with the entertainment squad in the restaurant, then its off to enjoy the rest of the daytime fun. Activities include Fun Star boot-camp (learn how to be one of the Fun Star team on stage), to various other activities such as Puppet Shows, Singing and Talent sessions, or morning fun sessions for under 4's with Anxious the Pink Elephant and the rest of the gang, and even an afternoon Wrestling Match. As this park is surrounded by stunning landscaped gardens and so close to the coast there are many Nature based activities for the kids to get involved in too. Just some of these activities include Pond Dipping (in the on site ponds), Rangers Nature Trails and Bird Spotting, Bug Hunts and Treasure Hunt themed learning sessions (making learning about nature fun) and even Habitat improvement tasks such as Nest Box making. Then the Nature activities move to the coastline around Hopton on Sea Holiday Village, exploring the rock pools and coastline as well as building sand castles with the Rangers and much more.
For your evening entertainment the night starts off with Cash Bingo for the adults and plenty of early evening fun for the kids, including dance-offs, competitions and Prize Bingo with the Seaside Squad. There is an excellent selection of dishes to choose from in the Garden House restaurant for your evening meal (as well as the breakfast and lunchtime offerings) or you could enjoy a Pizza from the on site Papa John's. The nights entertainment continues with shows such as Swinging Sixties, Summer of Love show, Solo Vocal performances by the Fun Stars, and even a show including your kids (performing the moves they learnt earlier in the day at the Fun Star boot-camp). Don't forget our Star Cabaret acts from various visiting artists such as Singers, Live Bands, Comedians and Tribute Acts. The Fun Stars hold a Talent Project Competition between the on site performers which allows the guests to cast their vote for the best Fun Star member, and you can end your night with some of your Disco favourites.
The park backs right onto the coast, so you can walk straight down onto the sandy beach from the holiday park. Hopton on Sea beach is protected by a sea wall and has pockets of soft golden sand interspersed with sea defenses and granite boulder groynes, creating an interesting coastline for you to enjoy. Hopton on Sea is in the perfect position to explore the Norfolk area, to the North past Gorleston on Sea you will find Great Yarmouth a bustling seaside town. Heading South you will come to Lowestoft along the coast, but before that you will find the famous Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park, which is a great day out for all the family.
Hopton-on-Sea is the ideal place to spend your holiday with its stunning beach right on top of the holiday parks in the area. Haven Hopton Holiday Village is located here as well as the 5 star Potters Holiday Resort. The beach is popular for beach fishing between the rock and wood groynes that help protect this part of the Norfolk coastline in combination with the sea wall at Hopton-on-Sea.
